    Warranty Policy

For products with a 1-year warranty period, during the first 6 months, the mattress will be replaced if there are any manufacturing defects as mentioned below. If the mattress is replaced after 6 months, the warranty will only apply for the remaining 6 months.

For products with a 2 to 10-year warranty period, during the first year, the mattress will be replaced if there are any manufacturing defects as mentioned below. During subsequent years, a prorated warranty will be applicable.
 

Warranty Registration and Coverage

  1. Registration: All products purchased must be registered under warranty within 20 days of delivery to claim warranty.

  2. Coverage: Warranty is applicable only in case of product failure due to manufacturing defects.

  3. Product Failure Definition: Product failure is limited to the sagging of the core of the mattress.
     

Warranty Limitations

  1. Depression Tolerance: Warranty does not cover depressions of less than:

    • 1 inch for mattresses up to 5 inches thick.

    • 1.5 inches for mattresses more than 5 inches thick.

  2. Individual Mattresses: If multiple mattresses are purchased and one is sagged or damaged, the warranty will apply only to the sagged or damaged mattress.

  3. Fabric and Stitching: Wear and tear of fabric and stitching from regular use are not covered under warranty.

  4. Comfort Adjustment: Warranty does not cover comfort level or firmness preferences. New mattresses may feel different initially; the body and mattress require adjustment time, which could take several weeks.

  5. Polyurethane Foam: Softening of flexible polyurethane foam with normal use is not considered a defect.

  6. Improper Use: Warranty does not cover damage or sagging caused by:

    • Improper size and condition of the cot.

    • Uneven resting surfaces or improper structural design of the cot.
       

Exclusions

  1. Ironing Damage: Warranty does not cover damages caused by ironing.

  2. Freebies: Free items are not covered under warranty.

  3. Stains: Stains occurring after unpacking or during use at the customer’s end are not covered. Stains must be reported within 2 days of delivery.

  4. Stitching Issues:

    • Opening of stitches (quilt and tape edge) reported after 30 days of delivery is not covered.

    • Loose quilting reported after 30 days of delivery is not covered.

  5. Size Variations: A size variation of ±0.5 inches in length, width, and thickness is acceptable. Mattresses may take 2-3 days to settle to their actual size after being unpacked.

  6. Smell and Moisture: Warranty does not cover:

    • Odors from enclosed environments.

    • Moisture issues due to surroundings or air conditioning.

    • Liquid damage.

  7. Roll Packed Mattresses: These should return to their specified dimensions within 48 hours of unpacking. ±0.5-inch variation in dimensions is acceptable.

  8. User-Inflicted Damages: Damages caused by:

    • Insects, bugs, or rodents.

    • Natural calamities.

    • Improper usage or handling.

Warranty Conditions

  1. Authorized Purchases: Warranty is valid only if the product is purchased from authorized Darzee Mattress dealers, distributors, the Darzee website, or authorized marketplaces.

  2. Replacement Policy:

    • Defective mattresses will be replaced with an identical product.

    • If an identical product is unavailable, a substitute of equal or higher value will be provided, or a discount based on prorated value will be offered for purchasing a new mattress.

  3. Final Decision: The final decision regarding warranty claims will be made by Darzee Mattress.

Additional Terms

  1. Disputes: Any disputes are subject to Hyderabad jurisdiction.

  2. Inspection Charges: On-site inspection services are not provided by default. They are Chargeable. 

  3. Effective Date: This warranty policy is effective from 1st January 2024 and supersedes all previous policies, whether written or oral.

  4. Logistics cost of the product has to be borne by the customer. Including transfer of product to Darzee’s Factory and the same fromDarzee’s Factory to Delivery address.​

At Darzee Mattress, we aim to provide the best possible experience for our customers. However, we understand that situations may arise where you need to make a warranty claim. Here's how the warranty process works:

Consider you purchased a Darzee Mattress with a 5-year warranty for Rs. 15,000.

  1. If any defect occurs within the first year: We will replace or repair the product free of charge.
     

  2. If the defect occurs after the first year of use: A pro-rata discount will apply for the remaining 4 years of the warranty. This means you will receive a pro-rata discount for a new Darzee Mattress purchase of equal or higher value. The discount is calculated as follows:
     

(15000/5)×4=12,000 (This is the discount amount for the new Darzee Mattress).

(Amount Paid / No. of Warranty Years)×Balance Warranty Years = The discount amount for the new Darzee Mattress.

This way, the warranty ensures you get the best value for your mattress, even beyond the first year of use.
